Turtle Soap Dish

Concept

Okay, a turtle, but its shell is soap. 

Little Details

A soap dish needs to do 2 things: 

• keep the soap from slipping away 

• at the same time, drain away the water from below the soap. 

This dish has a main drainage slope but then crenulations and lofts to keep the soap in place, and allow air to dry out any puddles below. Following a similar principle, the whole dish is raised on rubber anti-slip feet for better drainage and to give the impression of floating.

Oh, and I guess this dish does a bonus 3rd function of looking like a sea turtle with a soap bar shell.

The design for the turtle soap dish is free and open for anyone to print their own on Thingiverse.
